Parkside Elementary

Parkside Elementary is the official zoned Atlanta Public School for many Grant Park and Ormewood Park residents. Grade levels serviced are Pre-K thru 5th grade. Parkside is a 21st Century school, the only such school of it's kind in Atlanta.

Parkside boasts state of the art Promethean technology in EVERY classroom, teachers who are equipped to give lessons using traditional techniques as well as PC's, Mac laptops, Ipods and Promethean software. Our school houses a full science lab, comprehensive art studio, multiple music classes including voice, strings, band, drumming and handbells. Every student receives Spanish each day and we have 2 full time Gifted teachers, several ESOL instructors, a school psychologist, counselor, social worker, media specialist and full time science teacher.
