Glenwood Improvement Team

The Glenwood Avenue corridor from Moreland to Boulevard is an important gateway to our neighborhoods. It could be a lovely and safe place to walk, jog, bike, and drive. It could foster community by increasing interaction among neighbors and by drawing visitors to our great neighborhoods!

Unfortunately, most of the Glenwood Avenue corridor is both unpleasant and hazardous to use due to speeding, heavy truck traffic, inadequate lighting, and neglected crosswalks, sidewalks, landscaping, and bus stops.

The Glenwood Improvement Team is making short-term improvements such as weekly street clean-ups, as well as developing a vision plan for how the corridor can best meet the needs of all its users.
