Atlanta Preservation Center Walking Tour of Grant Park

The Atlanta Preservation Center (APC) presents an approximately 1.5 hour guided walking tour of historic Grant Park at 10 am every Sunday from March 1 - November 31. Many of the historic structures and landmarks in the neighborhood are highlighted, including the Grant Mansion, the Burns Mansion, Grant Park, the Cyclorama and Fort Walker. Volunteers who are trained by experts in the fields of architecture, preservation, planning and history serve as guides. The tour begins at the Grant Park Conservancy. Tours are cancelled in the event of rain or inclement weather; they are not conducted on legal holidays. For further information, contact the APC at 404-688-3353, Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Walking tour admissions support the work of the Atlanta Preservation Center. Payment can be made by check (payable to Atlanta Preservation Center) or cash at the start of the tour. Reservations are not needed except for groups of more than 15 persons.
