Ormewood Park Sliders are looking for a few experienced co-ed softball players to compete in the “Southeast Atlanta League of Sport”. It’s a really corny name for a league, but the games are a lot of fun. We have room for 3 – 4 men and 1 - 2 women. Please email Scott at

Here are some specifics:
- You must live in Ormewood Park to play for us. We have to be strict about this due to the anticipated demand.
- We don’t need you to be a pro, but we lost a lot of talent this year, so if you’re OK at your beer league, you have enough talent for us. So much like living in the neighborhood clause above, we need some way to temper anticipated demand (no we will not have tryouts).
- League fees will be less than $25 for the season and include field rental, umps and equipment. Shirts will be about another $30 or so.
- The Shed is our sponsor and we get together at The Shed after the games to enjoy some alcoholic beverages and Cindy puts out some munchies.
- It’s a low fee, low competition, fun co-ed league. We play all our games on Sundays, at either Coan Park or East Lake Park.
- The League was started three years ago to bring the neighborhoods of Atlanta together.
- The League has grown to two divisions (North & South) and has 10 teams.
- We are going to get together for Sliders this Wednesday at 8:30 if you just want to come out and meet your local celebrity athletes…..or see that none of us are professional players either.
