We are very excited about this year’s event featuring Atlanta blues legend Francine Reed along with the Graveyard Tavern’s own Gravediggers! If you have never heard Ms. Reed before, she is a treat. Best known for her years as featured vocalist with Lyle Lovett’s Large Band, she sings an eclectic blend of jazz, blues, and R&B and has recorded with Willie Nelson, Delbert McClinton and Roy Orbison.
Where else can you get dinner, a concert, free parking and support our fantastic school for $20?? Plus with the VIP ticket, which is just $30, you get unlimited beer and wine!! The event is a great night out that you can share with family and friends, married couples and single friends. Make sure you tell people that 100% of the proceeds go to support the preschool.
Thrifty and philanthropic, it does not get any better than that!
This would be a great date night for your single or married friends. Invite your neighbors, your co-workers, book club members, pediatrician and your spiritual leader. Post it on your facebook page! Many people that don’t even have kids are telling us they want to come because it is such a great deal.

The Grant Park Cooperative Preschool currently serves 120 families at campuses in Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Ormewood Park, Reynoldstown, East Atlanta, and other in-town communities. The Preschool’s curriculum follows the Reggio Emilia approach to education and is designed to encourage the development of the child’s self-respect and inner discipline. Primary importance is placed upon creating opportunities for the children to satisfy their natural curiosity and to find fulfilling outlets through music, art, literature, language, drama and other forms of play. As a cooperative, parents are involved in contributing inside the classroom to their children’s education.
Did we mention Francine Reed is performing! Don’t miss this ONCE-A-YEAR opportunity to be part of a fabulous event!
PS: We've heard the Mud Monster may join the band for at least one set. Don't stop believing, hold on to that feelin’!
