Located at the corner of Atlanta and Cherokee Ave, Intown Healthy Hound was opened in 2008 by long time residents James and Bridget Galloway to serve the local pet loving community by offering holistic and all-natural food and treat alternatives to the big box and big brand name varieties. In addition to consumables for dogs, cats, small animal and even chickens--the shop believes in supporting predominately local and domestic products going to great lengths to seek out a quality selection made to improve the lives of pet owners.
The store also boasts two stainless 4' self-wash tubs as well as full service grooming. The shampoos used in the facility are made in Smyrna, GA using organic oils.
The couple also believes in giving back to the community and being an active member and to that end they host an adult, customer appreciation evening once a month as well as a monthly low-cost shot clinic.
And to make things even easier delivery is offered at a nominal charge on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
