How to Get Involved in the Grant Park Parents Network...

The Grant Park Parent's Network is a non-profit organization of parents in Grant Park and Ormewood Park neighborhoods. The mission is to bring fun activities and events for the families throughout the year.  The GPPN is a committee with the Grant Park Neighborhood Association and meets once a month to update the community on school issues and events being planned.

Every 6 months the GPPN creates a playgroup for parent(s) to join.  You may learn more about our playgroups at www.grantparkparents.org.  You may inquire about joining by sending an email to the playgroup committee chair at: [email protected]

The GPPN sponsors a social group for pregnant ladies called, The Pregnant Peahens. Please email: [email protected] to join or request to join on the Pregnant Peahen Facebook group.

Activites and Events are continually being planned for all families in the neighborhoods.  A few are listed:
  • Pajama's & Puppets once per month at 6:00 pm November through March
  • Easter Egg Hunt and/or Spring Social
  • Community School Box Top Collection
