  • Homes & History – Paul Simo ([email protected];)
  • Been working on the Northern portion of GP for national historic designation for about 1 year. Getting ready to start interviewing older neighbors about the area, especially the area north of I20 to understand the history and its relevance and contribution to Grant Park to prove that the area was always considered as GP. The Nextran and ambulance area was actually an old golf course that was called the Grant Park golf course prior to I20 coming through. If you know of neighbors that were I this area prior to I20 being built, contact Paul
  • Tip of the month: Real concern over builders taking down our old homes. A number of contributing homes to our national registry are being torn down completely overnight or over the weekend. If you see this happening, contact Paul immediately, especially if you don’t see a big lettered sign in the front yard.s
  • Land Use and Zoning – Rick Hudson ([email protected]) - Presented by Dr. Michelle Kirby
  • Advocating for full Beltline Rail Now to get funding on the Beltline before 2030
Minutes Approval Vote- April and May minutes approved
New Business/Open Floor
  • Our neighborhood won an award! Community efforts to make A Safer Boulevard have been awarded a $15,000 grant from the City of Atlanta's Department of Mobility Planning for a creative placemaking project.  The activities will focus on promoting road safety and connectivity for the area of Boulevard between Glenwood and Berne.  There is plenty of opportunity to get involved and if you'd like to help with anything on this project, just message @asaferboulevard on Facebook.

Adjourn – 8:30 pm
