  • Welcomed everyone, explained the agenda and open floor rules, and voting eligibility
  • Thank you to Zoo Atlanta for allowing the use of the building for the meeting

    • Overview of program, how it works, and where bikes will be located

  • Grant Park Gathering - Planning "Last Days of Summer" with GPPN for end of July
     

Public Safety Committee Chair, Chris Newman

  • Follow Court Watch to see how you can advocate for your community's safety at trials
  • You can volunteer for neighborhood watch by emailing [email protected]
  • Zone 6 APD update - Lt. Floyd, Zone 6
    • Update on Crime
    • Recent string of shed break ins.
    • Be sure to secure your shed and ensure adequate lighting near area to deter crime.
    • Record the serial numbers for your valuables, so that they may be recovered in the event of theft.

  • Introduction: David Dryer, Candidate for House District 59 with run-off election on July 26
  • The Nest daycare is moving to Grant Park. Possible variance could be coming to support their playground.
    • Motion approved unanimously to support the concept of the Nest's playground
