The Highlander School is a new, nature centered learning community that fosters collaboration and a celebration of childhood! We are located in the East Atlanta Village behind the library. Our registration application is available online at TheHighlanderSchool.com.

The Highlander School provides care and progressive early education for young children, uniquely tending the whole child, both heart and mind. We are creating  a community of inquiry, where children and educators alike are empowered to wonder together and pursue their curiosities. In the context of these meaningful experiences and investigations, teachers support and deepen children’s exploration of math, language and literacy, science, social studies and the arts.

The Highlander School serves young children from infants to five years old and their families living in In-town Atlanta and surrounding communities. In order to meet the needs of our families, we operate a full-day, year-round program while providing some part time options.

We are located right behind the East Atlanta Library at 1212 McPherson Ave, Atlanta, Ga. 30316, in a facility that has operated as a daycare center since 1974. Over the next couple of months, we will be transforming the building into a beautiful and inspiring space for young children and our community. So please look out for us! For information on enrollment, or to learn more about our programs and philosophies, please visit our website, thehighlanderschool.com.
