Glenwood Park is an entire community built around green building principles. Each residence adheres to the
Earthcraft House
construction standard developed by the
Southface Energy Institute
and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.
Green Building Factoids about Glenwood Park
Through its energy efficient design, Glenwood Park homes will save at least 1.3 Megawatts of energy per year based on the EarthCraftTM House construction of its approximately 375 residences. That is enough energy to run another 81 households for a year and is the equivalent of removing 243 cars off the roads of Atlanta in terms of air pollution every year!
Glenwood Park Key Project Facts
Two miles east of downtown Atlanta, Glenwood Park will provide homes and offices for 800 to 1,200 residents and employees, while contributing over $4.5 million in annual tax revenue for the City of Atlanta, Fulton County and Atlanta Public Schools.
